OTHER REASONS FOR PRE-PLANNING 

There are many good reasons why it's very important to have your Obituary created ahead of time. One of the most important reasons we surveyed and found was that no one knows important events that have happened in your life like you do.  Loved ones have often faced the frenzied impact of scrambling for facts and dates about their loved ones after they are gone.  Many times the dates and information is incorrect.  The most unnerving decision is what picture would my loved one have wanted me to use.  Your Obituary is the last thing that everyone will ever see of you so it's important that you are represent in the best way possible. We also highly recommend if you can to have a headshot or recent photo made of yourself.  It does not have to be done by an expensive photograher.  There are very good digital cameras on the market and maybe you have a friend who owns one who will be willing to take a picture.  Also there are some very inexpensive disposable cameras that are digital and take very good pictures.
